How to:
Clean Copper.

You need:
  • A Lemon, cut in half
  • Salt
Use as much of the lemon you need! Sprinkle salt on the cut side of each half, and scrub around on the copper. The acids in the lemon dissolve patina and the salt helps to brush it away. This works better than a Brillo pad. My mother bought a copper kettle for her fiancee this past Christmas, and when I was asked how to clean one, this is what I told her. She didn't believe me! Lo and behold, when she looked it up, I was right.
:] Enjoy! Make that copper brilliant!
